Citywide Banks, in association with the Colorado nonprofit Spread the Warmth(TM), is working to bring warmth to the hearts and hands of the community this holiday season. Each Citywide employee has received a gift package with a pair of special gloves to give to someone – anyone – who needs them. Whether it’s a homeless person, an elderly neighbor, or a stranger working out in the cold, the mission is to reach out and make a heart-felt, personal gesture with the gloves. Then, each employee is asked to share their glove story on to help inspire others. A $5 donation to Urban Peak will be made for every glove story submitted online. […]

Thousands Enjoy Free Neighborhood Concert Presented by Citywide Banks

For the 27th straight season, Citywide Banks hosted its annual neighborhood concert last night at Utah Park in Aurora. The local country-rock band, Buckstein, performed in front of more than 1,000 fans spread across the hillside at the park’s northwest corner. The bank’s employees mingled with local families and music fans, passing out bottled water, balloons, and other giveaways. The outdoor concert was part of the Banks in Harmony summer concert series coordinated by the Aurora Chamber of Commerce. Citywide Banks is a founding member of the Banks in Harmony concert series. The first concert back in 1986 was performed from the bank’s parking lot of its Colfax branch. Citywide Banks has participated in the community program every year. […]

Citywide Banks was the title sponsor of the 2013 Colorado Golf Fundraising Tournament held earlier this week at the CommonGround Golf Course in Aurora.
